Hoot-ray for Spring!

You know you want me.

Well, you might be lucky enough to own me- and 3 of my best friends! It's a Hoot-ray for Spring Giveaway!

These pink and white owls egg cozies are made of 100% wool felt and lined with unbleached all cotton muslin. 100% cotton fabric is used to accent their tummies and wings, and their eyes are made with plastic hot pink buttons. I will even include 4 egg cups for you (just not the ones pictured- those are mine, all mine).

All you have to do to enter is leave a comment on this post telling me what you love about spring. That's it! Be sure it is no later than April 1, 2010, as I will draw the name and announce the winner on April 2.

Open to all my international friends as well. If you do not already have your email address linked to your blogger ID, please be sure to leave it in the message so I can contact you if you are the lucky winner. Good luck!

And have a happy spring!

  1. !!! Those are the cutest things ever! Oooh, I feel so selfish for posting when I've already won a cookbook from you…. *cough*

What I love about spring is that's when Tivoli reopens, which means I can go eat Cold Stone Creamery and ride on my favorite ride, The Mines. It's safe even for pregnant ladies and squirmy toddlers. As soon as my morning sickness gives me the chance, I am SO THERE. I'm thinking Birthday Cake Remix.

  2. How cute! We have a pair of owls living near our house, but they are brown...not pink! I love the early blooming flowers of Spring and sighting my first Robin of the year.

  4. Your owls are adorable! My favorite thing about spring is seeing the bluebonnets popping up along the Texas highways! I don't do as much highway driving as I did a few years ago but I still love to see the ground carpeted in blue!

  5. The owls are just gorgeous! Mm, would love to win! I love many things about spring - but what I think about the most these two past weeks are the wild cherry trees in blossom on the slopes of the nearby mountain and me lying under the branches and the smell of the earth awakening from the sleep!

  6. I love being able to wear warm weather clothes again finally after the long long winter. And I love how all the cafes put tables outside on the street so you can drink your coffee in the sunshine.

  7. We don't have spring right here so i dont know how spring looks like. xP
what passes my mind when thinking of spring is golden sun rays showering the fresh blooming flowers, the clouds humming, melting away the grey sky, children playing tag in the park, wearing red dresses and blue shirts, and the green green grass.
i've never experienced spring but what i imagine is it's the time of the year when everyone gives a great warm smile to people passing by.
    it must be lovely.

  8. They are such beatiful owls!!

I love the freshness of spring. (although it's autumn here in the tropics it feels kind of spring like to an English girl!) the humidity is rapidly diminishing, and we can finally open our doors and windows to let that fresh air in!

I love the rebirth of the world in spring - buds, baby animals, flowers, fresh shoots of grass.

  10. Why I love spring?
Selfish reasons: My wedding anniversary. My husbands birthday. My birthday.
Non selfish reasons? The smell of fresh in the air. Flowers blooming; the tulips, daffodils. I love being able to start to wear flip flops!

  12. I love those!!! Owls are my favorite!

My favorite thing about spring is the influx of green and color...the world goes from a dismal grey to full of light and rich color...its awesome!

Oh...and the cute baby animals...I love those too.

  13. i love spring because i cut my shih-tzu ladybug's hair nice and short so she won't get too hot inside the house, but still get to put a jaunty little sweater on her for crisp saturday morning walks.

i love spring because my wife sings songs to butterflies and marvels at the emerging flowerbuds and skips and claps while we enjoy the lovely afternoons.

i love spring because our japanese maple, konichiwa, wakes up from his winternap and shows us that he's ready to shade and brighten the yard for one more year.

i love spring because it is a positive action word. it evokes progress, excitement and catapulting you into the most rejuvenating and lovely time of the year!
