Giveaway!

This is the moment.... it's giveaway time!

You have probably come to know and love that diaper clutch over the past few blogs, and now one lucky reader will get to keep it.

Who's eligible?
Any of my blog readers residing in: the EU (including UK), USA, Canada, and/or Australia.

How to Enter: Until the 11th of August, you can enter by:
  • Option A: Become a follower of my blog. Current followers are automatically entered (wow, how easy was that? You didn't even have to lift a finger!).
  • Option B: Leave a comment of at least 10 words on this post. Need suggestions on what to write? How about comments about my blog, which items in my store are you favorites, what you would love to see for future tutorials, secret family recipes (especially if they are from a grandmother and involve cookies)....
Guess what? You can do both options to double your chances of winning!

The Rules:
Contest ends 16:00 CET 12 August 2009. Time is based on my desktop computer's clock so be sure to get your "submission" in with plenty of time to spare. Winner will be announced within 24 hours by blog post. (CET is Central European Time, which is my local time zone). Everyone will be assigned a number in sequential order (followers first, then comment posts second) in chronological order. The winner will be chosen by a number randomizer. The winner will then have 3 days to respond before the prize is considered forfeit and a new winner will be chosen.

Diaper Clutch and mailing costs are both included in the prize. All custom/excise/duty fees/taxes are your responsibility. Each country will have it's own specific regulations so it never hurts to do a quick online check to see if this will even affect you. There is a whole bunch of other fine print to put here- you know about: void where prohibited, and I assume no responsibility for death or dismemberment, blah blah blah. All the legal stuff. Well, you consider it implied and I will consider it read by you. Done. Shortest legalese ever.

And now, for those who don't sew,
and who NEED to have a Diaper Clutch........

Just for you, my devoted readers, I will take special orders. $75 plus $15 mailing, and it's yours. Limited to 10 bags: first come, first serve.

How do you order? All you have to do is leave a comment on this post stating your choice of the following fabric options (being sure to state which one you want for the regular fabric and which one you want for the contrast fabric), and your etsy name. That's it. And the best part (besides actually getting a custom made Diaper Clutch, of course) is it counts for option B in the giveaway- you know, the one where you leave a comment entry?

Here are the fabric choices:

Happy Chickens........ Orange Birds......

Black Nature...... Funky Trees.....

Wallpaper Blue..... Blue Forest.....

Cat and Mouse..... Basil Green.....

Note to self: iron that Cat and Mouse fabric already!

In less than 7 working days you will see your lovely diaper clutch appear as a reserved listing in my Etsy store with your name on it. You pay through Etsy/Paypal so you will get all your normal buyer protections, and I don't have to deal with all that top secret bank security stuff because Paypal does it for me. (Just remember I am on vacation 6-11 August, so please don't count those as working days.)

Good Luck to Everyone!

  8. If only I had a sewing machine to even attempt something like this... instead I can hope to win. It would be the perfect gift to give my friend who just learned she's expecting. Would that be legal?

I'm also very impressed with your fabrics.

  9. Chocolate Chip cookies sound so delicious right now so I'm entering this competition with a recipe from grandma!
    1/2 cup granulated sugar
    1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened
    1/3 cup shortening
    1 egg
    1 teaspoon vanilla
    1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
    1/2 teaspoon baking soda
    1/2 teaspoon salt
    1/2 cup chopped nuts
1 package (6 oz) semisweet chocolate chips
    lots of love

Heat oven to 375. Mix sugars, margarine, shortening, egg and vanilla. Stir in remaining ingredients.

Drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls about 2 inches apart onto ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until light brown, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool slightly before removing from cookie sheet. Makes about 3 1/2 dozen. If using self-rising flour, omit baking soda and salt.

You can easily make these into peppermint chocolate chip cookies by stiring in 1/3 cup crushed peppermint candy.

    ENJOY!!!

  10. I am in awe of others who can create & produce. What I love is the individuality of the work. A change of fabric & hey presto a new fresh look. I have my fingers crossed.
