Happy Birthday to Me!

Today is my birthday!

I am 38 years old and *obviously* incredibly mature and sophisticated.
Here is how I am celebrating:

• Marking every single item in my shop 38% off for 24 hours only.

• Baking my own from-scratch birthday cake. Heart-shaped chocolate layer cake with home-made marshmallow icing, and of course I am covering it in edible confetti! I know I know. But I love this cake, I love baking, and this way I get to lick the bowl. Mmmmm.
  

• Buying a new adventure game to play. They make me happy. They also keep me up until 2 am. I love adventure games.

• Not doing any laundry. That big ol' pile can just sit there one more day.

• Finishing off my sewing projects. It's not working if you love it. It's more like playing. And nothing beats playing with fabrics. Especially since I moved the sewing machine upstairs where the view is awesome, the tea pot is handy, and I can half-listen to the cooking show marathon that is on.
